Typhoon Tali Will Make Landfall Tonight

The observatory continued to issue typhoon orange alert at 10:00 on July 17. Typhoon Tali, the fourth typhoon this year, has been strengthened from a severe tropical storm to a typhoon on the morning of today (17th). At 8 o 'clock this morning, the center of "Tali" is located in the northwest of the South China Sea about 325 kilometers east of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province.

It will move west-north at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour, and the intensity will gradually increase. It is expected to land in the coastal area from Taishan, Guangdong Province to Wenchang, Hainan Province tonight. Typhoon Tali could be the first to make landfall in China this year.
